Business Rates Appeals

We have considerable experience in assisting clients with Business Rate Appeals against the Rateable Values of commercial properties.

We can provide a professional approach to the increasingly complex area of the uniform Business Rates system. We can challenge these Rateable Values and, in many cases, can obtain backdated reductions. We are also happy to check the revised rate bills issued by the Local Authority to ensure that all refunds are correctly calculated. There are many areas such as wrong bills, partly empty properties, vacant buildings, exemptions, properties currently being marketed, where expert advice can prove extremely cost effective.
